Part 2: Show it
Show it by supporting the participant to express and act on their rights.
5 minutes
Module Overview
Show it focuses on how you support and advocate for an NDIS participant in ways that uphold their rights, while keeping the participant in control of their own decisions.
This module explores what effective advocacy looks like in practice. You’ll learn how to support participants to understand information, weigh options, and express their needs, without speaking over them or making decisions on their behalf. It reinforces choice as a powerful right and shows how your support can help participants feel informed, confident, and heard.
Show it is about walking alongside the participant — providing support when asked, encouraging independence where possible, and helping create space for the participant’s voice to lead.
